Short answers to the questions people usually ask before they trust a platform with their home.

Is a “verified pro” guaranteed to be perfect?
No. Verification reduces risk and removes common unknowns. It doesn’t replace due diligence and it isn’t a guarantee of performance. The real win is that the request, quote, approvals and evidence are recorded clearly.
What checks do you do during onboarding?
Identity/contact checks, core business details, service coverage, and document collection where relevant (e.g. insurance/certification depending on trade type). The goal is to reduce obvious risk, not to over-promise.
Do you hold payments in escrow?
Not by default. The platform focus is clear scope, transparent quotes, approvals and a clean record. If escrow is introduced, it will be explicit and opt-in.
What if a pro doesn’t meet standards?
Professionals agree to platform standards. Repeated issues (no-shows, poor comms, bad faith quoting, etc.) can lead to warnings, suspension or removal. The job record makes patterns visible.
How do you protect my data and documents?
MyHome Hub is a secure account area. Access is limited by role and records are attached to the home/job. Only the relevant parties should see what they need to complete work.
